A few days ago we went to Alexandria Park with my бабушка. (grandmother)
The Beautiful little house in the park

Lucy really enjoyed hiding behind the trees and then poking out when we were "looking" for her...
The view...

Papa and Mom

Me and Papa! :D

Lucy Loves Leaves :P

A Pretty Bridge.. In Russia, there is no such thing as a boring park. All the parks are HUGE and they have so much architecture inside them. They are a very important part of life.

Playing in the Leaves...

Collecting Leaves.

Panorama: View of the lower park from the hilltop... it was breathtaking!!!
Bright, Fire Orange leaves...

A church in the park.

Little Lucy being a clown. She was drawing lines on the ground. Nobody was allowed to cross them, except her of course... :D

The Hermitage

Yesterday, we went to the Hermitage Museum.
Princess Lucy on the Staircase...
Imagine having a ceiling like that!!!
In the hall where the famous Peacock Clock sits. SO BEAUTIFUL!
SO much artwork... even the ceilings are artwork!
Knights. Real suits of armour atop stuffed horses.
More beautiful rooms... and of course. The amazing floor...
Rembrandt's The Return of the Prodigal Son... My favourite painting of all time... Well, that's all I have time for now! I will note that I have found a great dance school that I am dancing at twice per week. I might add in a third day on some free weekends. The teacher is great and even though all the students are at slightly different levels, he works with you so that everyone is dead at the end. :D

CIRCUS VIDEOS!

A few videos of the amazing circus! Enjoy!!!

Downtown St. Petersburg and the Summer Gardens

Yesterday (October 4th) we went downtown to see the Summer gardens, have пышки, and see the Palace Square.
The summer gardens and along the road...
The Eternal Flame, in remembrance of all the victims of revolutions and wars in St. Petersburg.
The beautiful Church of our Saviour on Spilled Blood. In Russian: Церковь на Крови
пышки (pronounced piishki) for lunch!!!! YAY!!! BEST LUNCH EVER! Though not healthy at all... (no veggies involved)
And the Palace Square. In front of the Hermitage palace. SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! And the flag of Russia flies atop the palace. :D I'm off for now!

Peterhof

Peterhof is Papa's favourite park. When he lived here he came here often. He came as a little boy. I also really like it. It was my dream to see the fountains and so this time, I got to!
It's a huge garden. Officially called the Lower Gardens. It's so big we only were able to walk through about 1/4 of it! Here are some pictures of the gardens:
Beautiful! You can probably tell I like to capture the colours of the trees. It amazes me!
All the things you aren't allowed to do in the park... :)
