Time flies….

Well hello again! I must say I am very sorry for not being more regular with my updates… I have been so busy lately! Thankfully I'm getting used to my schedule and I take advantage of my spare time.
Today is a milestone for me. This afternoon from 4-5, I will be teaching a ballet class on my own for the first time! I am thrilled with the opportunity.

I can't believe that it's already the 18th of February. Where does the time go? We just found out that the people who own our rental home will be coming back April 17th. Mom and Papa have been looking at quite a few homes to buy and will look at more this week. We have to find something by the end of the month, otherwise we will have to rent again.

Sofi has started an archery class and Lucy is dancing two days per week. Over all we are all enjoying life here in Kelowna. It rained yesterday but… IT STOPPED. As we from Sooke/Victoria know, it can rain for weeks at a time without stopping… well here it has only rained twice since we have been here and at the most, overnight-2PM. INCREDIBLE!

Well, That's all for now. But, I do have a few pictures. We had a large dump of snow last weekend….
There's a large pond really close to our house that froze over. People were skating on it and playing hockey for a few days!

This is our street… Manhattan Drive. It was rather white… :)
This is the path that I take on every nice day when I walk to the dance studio…
You can see the large flakes in the air!

And this year I re-made my Mocha-Mousse cake for Valentine's day (Feb. 8, we celebrated earlier) . Unfortunately, It didn't turn out the way it did two years ago ------>

But it tasted wonderful and was a hit with our friends who came for the weekend. :)

New Semester, Snow, Bacon, and Horses

Yes, I know, it's a weird title. I'm feeling a little more creative, but less creative at the same time…

So we have had some snow falling the last two weeks. It's gorgeous, especially on a nice day!

This is in the marsh about a 5 minute walk from where we life

Last weekend, we went down to Langley as a family. Papa had to smoke some bacon with a  friend so we made it into a trip. The bacon was AMAZING….

While we were visiting, Lucy got her first try at horseback riding! She loved it!!!

Well, I would write more but I have to dash and get ready for another evening at dance… :D It's wonderful… I'm really loving it, but it's a lot! With all the school I'm doing I'm only getting about 30 minutes of free time every day… But dance is relaxing enough to count for more free time :D
