Autumn is very much alive in Kelowna, but Winter is rolling in so I'm taking advantage of the last colours of the season. People associate fall with many things... Fall = Spice, Fall = Hunting, Fall = Falling Leaves... ETC. Here's what I've been up to this fall...
I escaped early one morning to catch the sunrise from the top of the hill behind our house... Although it wasn't as spectacular as I had wanted, it was gorgeous.
Papa and I went hunting one Sunday morning. Although we didn't get anything ourselves, we did see some great wildlife and nature. Like these wild bighorn sheep! I got some cool pictures of him looking for deer through his binoculars... the light was excellent for silhouettes.
We also got the opportunity to go mushrooming as a family and we hit a few jackpots!

We also have finished the renovations in our bedroom! A few little things still to be done like a Doctor Who quote on the wall and a couple more boxes to deal with, but for the most part it's all done! You can see the magnificent bookshelves and our wonderful TARDIS on the wall... And of course all the hard work that Papa put into our room.
So yeah, I love fall. I love the crisp air, the colours of the leaves, being able to wear scarves, coats and boots again, tea, pumpkin spice... Being warm and cozy... It's awesome!!! What do you love about fall!?
I love it! The colouring on those pictures is ridiculously gorgeous. As for your room, I bet it's lovely having it back again - in working condition, too! :P
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what I love about fall, exactly. It's got a nice atmosphere. You don't have as many people complaining about the heat or the cold. There's more of a connection with the outdoors, in an artsy, inspiring kind of a way. It's beautiful!
