Christmastime and Wintertime

Ok. There is absolutely no point on trying to take a photo of the day and then never posting them. So scratch that. I'll just blog more often. Or I'll just stop making ridiculous resolutions.

Christmas came to our house... We got a beautiful tree and put it up on the 24th.

As many of you know, we put candles on our tree. Then when we have guests, we light them and sing carols all together. It's beautiful!

Last night it snowed, LOTS

So this morning I went to take some pictures of it...

2014 is drawing to a close. I am starting to think about my New Year's Resolutions for 2015. I know that I want to read AT LEAST 150 books in 2015. I have read 145 this year, I'm hoping for a few more in these last days of the year. I really want to keep up with my journaling, and my somewhat regular blogging. Mainly little things.
I'll be graduating in June, life is about to change. I don't know for certain what I want to do after graduation, I am working towards a professional dance career. We'll see how that goes!!! Whatever the year holds, I am sure it will be exciting!

December 21st - Peace

I ignored yesterday's challenge because it was "Tree Topper" and we don't have our tree up yet.
We just cut it today!!!

We went up into the woods with our friends the Soames Family and had a winter picnic, went sledding on cookie sheets, built half an igloo on the frozen lake and had an absolutely amazing time.

Up in the mountains it was so peaceful and calm... It was wonderful to be around our friends. :)

December 19th - Candy Cane

Today's theme is Candy Cane!

I slightly changed it and did Candy Canes instead of the just one...

Yeah, not very creative... I'm busy today!

December 18th - Stockings

So I was feeling creative this evening and I took our stockings outside in the dark to take photos. This is what the photo-of-the-day thing is supposed to be like, a time when I actually take the time to compose a photo. I'll work on that...

December 17th - Presents

What can be more exciting than making/buying, wrapping and giving gifts at Christmas time?

This year, I have a vintage theme running with my wrapping/cards/decorations and so I'm doing brown paper packages tied up with strings!

Just a few to start, I'm only starting to wrap gifts, otherwise I'll forget what's inside!

December 16th - Outside Christmas Lights

Kristina Fedorov Just Failed

So much for a photo of the day... I kind of have an excuse though, it was the weekend of and week after  the performance... So I was really busy, and tired.

December 6 was supposed to be Shopping. Well, Sofi and I did some Christmas shopping on the 5th... And I knew that was coming up, so I took a picture. I know, I cheated...

December 7th was Bright. At the dance show, there was nothing brighter than all the smiles of the performers... Unfortunately, I don't have pictures yet...

December 8th - Ornaments. I just happen to be making a ton of Christmas ornaments this year!

December 9th - Something You're Reading. I am currently reading a wonderful Scottish Victorian era novella.

December 10th - Wrapping paper. Kristina failed at taking pictures for a few days...



Today is December 15th. Favourite Holiday Song. How in the world am I supposed to take a picture of a song... I don't even have a favourite, there are too many.
